More Life

Walked out this morning with fog in my head
I felt so crossed and twisted
Was I waiting for something to change?
Where’s all my promised wisdom?

Drifting through all of my memories past-my grasp is slowly slipping
Fumbling within for a smile or a laugh-feels like time is unforgiving

Walk on by-you’ve got time-it’s okay-you’ll be fine
Times will change-you will too-use your head-look it through

Life is needing more

Woke with a conscience as clear as the sky-gotten used to what I’m feeling
Finding the truth that was so hard to find-I’ve found that life is needing more
