Glances In The Dark

Sleepless in the dark of night
Hear voices that my soul denies
Always – you’ve got to find the way

Shadows on my bedroom wall
Nothing beyond but a rising and fall
No way – why can’t you go?

The glances that ain’t sacred
And vague hope in my mind
Build pictures of a future, look its blind

Chosen made or fake
The distance might be bright
Worsen, faded or hated cannot be right
