roses in the rain (lullaby)

roses in the rain (lullaby)

Christina Perry

Monday morning
See the children on their wait to school
Thought of hanging low my heart, the air is cool
That’s the strange feeling like I’m waiting for a dream
Looking out the window are roses in the rain

Walked around the supermarket talking to myself
Remember the count on ask if I need some help
I knew that he could see
‘Cause he didn’t know what to say
So I asked if he knew about the roses in the rain

Maybe in a little while I’ll put some coffee on
Can’t stop wondering where the spirits go when they are gone
Maybe there ways tomorrow, but it fell like today

You and I were walking
You and I were walking
You and I were walking through the roses in the rain

roses in the rain (lullaby)
