For in that sleep of Death what dreams may come?
When the final hour brings a hopeless grief
The ember of life is barely a smoulder
Nocturnal phantom raptures the thread
To bind the soul in another realm
Discarding the body, escaping from matter
It ascends from the Heart and through the Crown it departs
Quench the incense – let it be done!
Inhale the stench of decay!
Soul is released from rotting flesh
Body of Shadows fades away
Your ghost, an empty shell
Still dwells in the grave despite the years
In boundless possessions
We all shall dream the dreams!
The Ancients’ call, dreams and visions
Entwined into the image of afterlife
Deeper! Deeper! Into the lands of obscurity!
Transcendence quenched by the inner self
Poisoned by filthy words of God
By the boundless possessions it’s liberated
And through the Crown it departs
Death marks horizon line of the end
Beyond the doctrines of unconscious minds
Only black winds and funeral bells
