Hypoxia

Hypoxia

Flipturn

Well it feels like cotton in my mouth
Words are caught on something else
Speaking’s hard when you can barely breathe
And it feels like I am drowning down
Underwater can’t breathe now
Speaking’s hard when air is running out

But I can feel it coming
Confidence is growing
Words are on my tongue
But still I don’t use them
And she sits there just waiting
She’s anticipating
Losing faith in me
Why can I not breathe

Nowhere to go
I know she knows
My heart’s beating fast
My jaw explodes
No I can’t feel a thing
All of my senses are gone

Well my mind doesn’t feel like mine
No blood flow, my veins are tied
And all that seems to reach my brain is her
And it feels like she’s begun to fade
Drifting now and I’m too late
These puzzle pieces continue to change

But I can feel it coming
And I know there’s something
Clearly wrong with me
What is this disease
That leaves a silence haunting
Leaves me here just wanting
To be close to her
And I can’t find a cure

Nowhere to go
I know she knows
And my heart’s beating fast
My jaw explodes
And I can feel it coming up
Oh, I can feel it coming up

Nowhere to go
I know she knows
And my heart’s beating fast
My jaw explodes
When my heart bleeds it don’t feel good
When my heart bleeds it don’t feel good
Woah, woah, woah, woah
Woah, woah, woah, woah

Hypoxia
