Between the feet of the young lovers.
It pooled under the chesterfield
And sizzled deep inside of the stereo.
It condensed on the window.
It distorted the television
Screen with a thousand shades of green, then
Secretly meandered into
The darkest corner of the living room
And escaped down the vent hole.
