In the garden, flowers speak to me
They turn slightly toward the Sun they see
Red and blue you are the shadow

Why is Lara talking to a plant?
In the forest, trees hear more than leaves
They talk to me with electric speech

In a language, no one translates
Pretending it’s not odd to whisper
Acting normal, like no one hears her
Wild, green ivy

Do you try to speak?
When I am walking

People say it’s easy to talk to
Other humans creeping next to you
But I never seem to get through
