Night creeps in with stealthy grace
Silent whispers fill the space
Lurking shadows see my face
Life’s a dance without a trace

Eyes are heavy can’t stay strong
Body weak feels all so wrong
Fight this battle days too long
Heartbeats echo mournful song

Invisible is enemy won’t let me rest
Then disease be testing my spirit my very best

Raging war inside my veins
Pouring out in silent chains
Every breath a new refrain
Against this ghostly
Endless pain

Morning Sun shows no relief
Hope gets buried in the grief
