Behold the dark lady
As she enters the room
She’s speaking to no one
In this festering gloom
As the darkness falls
Through the earth he crawls
Rising from the grave
One less soul to save
How oft when thou, my music, music play’st
Upon that blessed wood whose motion sounds
With thy sweet fingers when thou gently sway’st
The wiry concord that mine ear confounds
Without the dark of night
How can she see the light?
Living in a dream
No one can hear her scream
Shadow at the door
Blood upon the floor
Roll the loaded dice
Time to pay the price
