Day and night
A hand suffocates and takes breath away
A heart scream for help
Ignorance is choosen to win
The eyes close in an attempt not to feel
But everything gets more intense

The pain runs from the heart to the body
And body to heart
They are trying to silence
They are silencing the voice that calls for help

They take my arms and pull me
They throw me on the wall and hit me
They do everything to destroy my value
They make the race an object
Will someday somebody really love?
Will anyone hear the pleas for help that are being stifled

A respectable black person is arrested
All because of the color
While a white man kills, steals and raps
But he goes unpunished and lives innocent
That’s enough
