Sunlight comes streaming in through my window
Green leaves all dance in the breeze, but
I’m just stuck in my house all day long
I can’t go and do what I please

Yeah, I could FaceTime
Or do homework online
But it just ain’t the same
I wanna see my friends
And play with my band
I wanna eat dinner at my grandma’s place

I see the birds fly outside my window
I see the squirrels scamper by, but
I just lay here on my bed looking at them
They play outside, why can’t I?
